Summary:

The Volunteer for health & Wellbeing Programs plays a vital role in supporting the YMCA’s mission of strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This position helps create a safe, engaging, and high-quality experience for members by assisting with program development, organization, and implementation.

Essential Functions:

• 1. Warmly welcome members – Greet all members by name during check-in to foster a friendly and inclusive environment.
• 3. Encourage positive interactions – Assist members towards participation in fun, engaging activities.
• 4. Contribute to program development – Provide input for new member programs or activities and help expand programming.
• 5. Assist with outreach – Support the marketing and distribution of program information to families.
• 6. Track participation – Monitor member usage and provide feedback on activities and events.
• 7. Additional responsibilities – Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with the planned Chart of Work.
