• Shifts:
  
  Night shifts, 3×12-hour (19:00 – 07:30); 4×12-hour option may be available
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (may be 1:4 for downgraded patients)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Weekend Requirement:
  Every other weekend
• Floating:
  Required to similar units within skill set (PCU, MS/Tele, MS Neuro)

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (neuro ICU experience preferred)
• Active RN license in Washington State or Compact License
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all nursing jobs)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• CCRN certification (preferred for critical care nursing jobs)
• Experience caring for high-acuity neuro and general ICU patients (sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GIB, COVID)
• Proficiency with ventilators, EVDs, bolts, pacemakers, thermoregulation, and CRRT
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Ability to float to similar units as needed
• Must be able to work every other weekend
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity neuro and general ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with complex neurological conditions and trauma
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gases, manage arterial and central lines, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for ventilated patients and manage external ventricular drains (EVDs)
• Implement hypothermia protocols and post-neurosurgery management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Float to PCU, MS/Tele, and MS Neuro units as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic
• Participate in unit-based quality and patient safety initiatives
