Oncology RN position within a Urology clinic where chemo is administered. RN must be comfortable and well versed in catheter changes and must be certified to administer chemo.
2 years of experience ok.
ONS/ONCC Required. No weekends or call. Outpatient clinic setting.
The RN will be the person responsible for performing special procedures known as Gemcitabine and/or Gemzar. This is a chemotherapy procedure where a chemo agent is infused into the bladder and then drained. This is typically done post removal of tumors to make sure they do not return. This RN will also be performing UDS, PTNS, catheter changes, CIC teaching, voiding trials and injections.
The RN also triage patient calls, work in the in-basket and do refills.
