American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring a WA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of OR experience.

• Operating Room unit in a short term acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (6:45 AM-5:15 PM)
• Call requirements apply
• Epic EMR preferred
• Floating between sister facilities nearby may be required

• Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand at submission
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency across a broad range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, ENT, urology, neuro, vascular, plastics, gynecology, and robotics preferred
• Experience with OR equipment such as cell saver, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, Hana table, and Steris preferred
• Knowledge of infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, and Universal Protocol (time-out) procedures
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
• Support surgical teams with instrumentation, equipment setup, and patient safety protocols
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
