American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring WA or compact RN license and at least 1 year of OR experience.

• Operating Room unit in a short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call responsibilities required
• Uses Epic charting system
• May float between sister facilities

• Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

• Scrub and support a wide variety of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, thoracic, urology, gynecology, neurology, ENT, vascular, and robotic-assisted procedures
• Experience with equipment such as cell saver, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, Hana table, and Steris systems is valuable
• Knowledge of infection control, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management expected
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including dates and locations
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment
