We are excited to welcome a new member to our team as an Entry Level Pet Groomer s role offers the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of pet grooming while working alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to the well-being of animals. Career Progression:
Upon completion of the entry-level training program and accumulating 1500 hours, you would be eligible to start training as a finished pet groomer, gaining additional skills and responsibilities within the company. • Bathe, brush, and trim the nails of 8-12 pets per shift with meticulous care and attention to detail, while strictly adhering to safety protocols for both humans and pets
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use
• Monitor pets for any signs of discomfort, health issues, or behavior changes during the grooming process and report them to senior staff members
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service to pet owners, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Document grooming services provided, and any special instructions or requests from pet owners are accurately
• Assist with general tasks around the grooming salon, such as cleaning kennels, laundry, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and cleaning common areas

Qualifications:

• Maintain a professional demeanor as a service technician at all times
• Responsible, hardworking, and reliable
• Loves working outside
• Is comfortable around animals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff members
• Genuine love and compassion for animals, with a desire to be the best and continue learning throughout your time at Animology
• Willingness to adhere to grooming standards and best practices established by Animology
• Flexibility to work weekends and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day Compensation: $17 - $19.75 per hour
