Responsible for the sale of integrated communication services to small‑to‑medium business customers. Develops relationships with individual businesses and the community and positions the Comcast brand as key components of the sales strategy.
Core Responsibilities- Assists with the creation and delivery of face‑to‑face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services; promotes bundled product sales to ensure optimal solutions for the customer while exceeding departmental, financial and unit targets.
- Stays abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
- Generates new leads with targeted businesses through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships, focusing on goal achievement and results.
- Assists with developing sales territory, including cultivation of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations.
- Retains customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo, ensuring a superior customer experience; maintains and builds relationships to drive retention, working with internal teams to achieve operational efficiencies and service levels that meet and exceed expectations.
- Prepares sales and activity reports as required.
- Participates in out‑of‑the‑office meetings with customers on a regular basis, demonstrating excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency in presenting, persuading and negotiating.
- Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintains regular, punctual attendance and is willing to work nights, weekends, variable schedules and overtime as necessary.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Understand and apply Comcast Operating Principles as job guidelines.
- Own the customer experience – think and act in ways that put customers first, providing seamless digital options at every touchpoint and turning them into promoters.
