At North Sky Communications, LLC, as a Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and maintain fiber optic networks to connect people. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, fix problems, and keep us connected without interruptions.
What You’ll Do- Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services according to guidelines
- Install, set up and configure all equipment
- Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
- Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
- Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
- Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
- Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after hours responsibilities as needed
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver’s license (not provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds
- Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
The wage range for Technician Fiber Installation is $23.00 - $28.00 per hour.
