Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an established warehouse and distribution company in Tumwater, WA, to hire a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate for a physically demanding, full-time position.

This is an Evaluation-to-Hire opportunity with the potential to become a permanent employee of the company.

We are looking for someone who enjoys physical work, has a strong safety mindset, and takes pride in doing the job correctly. This position involves regularly lifting and moving products weighing 60–75 pounds throughout the entire shift, operating warehouse equipment, and accurately picking customer orders.

Schedule flexibility is essential. The regular shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, but mandatory overtime is common. Employees regularly work until approximately 7:00–7:30 PM and must be available to stay until the work is completed. On rare occasions, shifts may extend until 9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and prepare warehouse orders accurately, ensuring correct products and quantities

• Regularly lift, carry, and move heavy products weighing 60–75 pounds throughout the workday

• Operate order-picking equipment, including elevated cherry pickers/order pickers

• Work at elevated heights to retrieve and organize warehouse products

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundings

• Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Remain on your feet and physically active throughout the entire shift

• Work efficiently while prioritizing safety and accuracy over speed

• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed

• Work mandatory overtime and remain on shift until daily work is completed

What You Bring:

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move 60–75 pounds throughout the entire workday

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physically demanding work for extended periods

• Comfortable working at elevated heights using cherry pickers/order-picking equipment

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures

• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability

• Strong attention to detail to ensure correct products and quantities are picked

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed

• Ability to stay focused and maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or material handling experience preferred

• Willingness to learn and safely operate warehouse equipment

• Ability and willingness to work mandatory overtime, including evenings as late as 9:00 PM when necessary
