Senior Payroll​/Accounts Assistant

Senior Payroll / Accounts Assistant Full-Time | Confidential Employer An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll / Accounts Assistant to join the finance team of a well-established, multi-site organisation. This is a varied position combining end-to-end payroll ownership with accounts payable and employee-record administration. The role You will take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting the wider finance and HR teams.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the complete payroll process using Sage Payroll and Bizimply Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records Processing accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation Completing payroll, supplier invoice and till-sheet data entry Reconciling payroll accounts and submitting relevant information Preparing reports for management review Supporting employee-record administration and onboarding documentation Investigating and resolving payroll or accounts discrepancies Working closely with the finance and HR teams across multiple locations What you'll need Previous payroll administration or accounts-support experience within a busy organisation Experience using Sage Payroll, Bizimply or similar payroll systems Familiarity with Sage Accounts, Excel, SharePoint or equivalent packages Knowledge of accounts payable and reconciliation processes Strong numerical and analytical ability Excellent accuracy and attention to detail An understanding of employee-record management The ability to identify discrepancies and resolve queries effectively Why apply?
