Inform3 are recruiting for a Site Manager to join a large civil contractor working on a renewable and civil projects in Northern Ireland – with occasional site visits across Ireland.

The client is seeking a Site Manager to join their expanding team. They are looking for someone that is able to handle responsibility and work off their own initiative in a busy working environment.

Site Manager Requirements:

  • Plan and oversee the construction process, ensuring all on-site activities are effectively managed.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure schedules are met, and collaborate with quantity surveyors to track and manage costs.
  • Procure and allocate equipment and materials, while supervising their usage and managing the workforce.
  • Work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project requirements.
  • Adhere to legal standards, safety protocols, and design specifications while maintaining detailed records and daily logs.
  • Direct labourers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are executed efficiently.
  • Implement and uphold safety measures, minimizing risks, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment and other safety gear.
  • Perform routine safety inspections to maintain a secure construction site.
  • Apply quality control processes to meet project standards.

Site Manager Job Specification:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • 5 years+ management experience
  • Current CSR Card
  • Experience in managing multiple civil teams and projects
  • Highly organised
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Fantastic communicator
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Full Driving License
