Position: Hourly Paid Invigilators

Job Title: Hourly Paid Invigilators

Department: Exams

Salary: £14.74 per hour (Including holiday pay), £15.09 per hour for Specialist Exam Invigilator duties (Including holiday pay)

Contract: Hourly Paid, Permanent

Pension: NEST Pension Scheme

  • Middlesbrough – Based at our main Middlesbrough campus
    , supporting examinations throughout the academic year.
  • Newcastle / Sunderland – Based at our Newcastle centre, with responsibilities that include supporting examinations in Sunderland as required.
The Role

We are seeking reliable, professional, and flexible Hourly Paid Invigilators to support the delivery of examinations across our college sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are highly organised, attentive to detail, and able to maintain examination regulations and standards while providing a positive experience for learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising learners during examinations and assessments.
  • Ensuring examination regulations and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Distributing and collecting examination materials.
  • Maintaining a calm and professional examination environment.
  • Reporting any incidents or irregularities in line with college procedures.

  • Previous invigilation experience is welcome but not essential, as training will be provided.
