Account Technician - Fintona We are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing construction business to recruit an Account Technician for their expanding finance team based in Fintona. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, ambitious business during a significant period of growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the finance function while also gaining exposure to month-end and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day purchase ledger, including invoice processing, supplier payments and account reconciliations Support monthly payroll processing Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns, ensuring all deadlines are met Complete monthly bank, payroll, tax and intercompany reconciliations Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong financial controls across the business Assist with continuous improvements to finance processes as the business continues to grow Who We're Looking For Previous experience similar role Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations and month-end processes Experience assisting with management accounts or looking to develop in this area Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Confident using accounting software such as Xero, alongside strong Excel skills
