Job Description
Join our Team as a: Fabricator / Welder
Location: Omagh
Hours: 39 Hour Week. Option to work hours over a four or five day week.
Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Fabricator / Welder to contribute to our Production team.
As a Fabricator / Welder at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities- Fabricate and weld components using MIG welding techniques.
- Read and interpret Engineering drawings.
- Ensure high-quality standards in all fabricated parts.
- Inspect Welds for any imperfections or quality issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ability to work within a team environment and use own initiative.
- Meeting set targets whilst working in a production environment.
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
- To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.
- Experience in Welding / Metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment and decision-making skill.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance.
- Flexible approach to meet business needs/targets.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
