Final Assembly Fitter

Location:

Reports to:

Production Manager

Fit together purchased and painted parts to build pre-assemblies and full machines

• Responsible for the assembly of fabricated & purchased parts as part of the manufacturing process with focus on safety, quality cost and delivery
• Assemble the product in line with Assembly drawings/models
• Moving between several operations as and when required to suit the business needs
• Responsible for the cleanliness of assemblies, work station and general working area
• Breaking down of full machines suitable to containerise
• Ensure work is completed to the ISO
  9001 Quality Standard.
• Responsible for complying with the H&S policies and procedures

Servicing the quarrying and aggregate, mining, port, and terminal sectors, Telestack design and manufacture their equipment from their headquarters in Omagh. Based across 2 nearby sites, Telestack have grown extensively in numbers and employ people across a range of disciplines from engineering (design, mechanical, electrical), manufacturing, fabrication, quality, supply chain, project management, aftermarket and product support, sales, marketing, finance, HR, IT and many more.

• Previous experience in construction/agriculture or mechanical background
• Ability to work to deadlines and achieve strict targets
• Good awareness of General Health and Safety rules
• Willing attitude to learn new skills
• Ability to step outside your comfort zone in a new challenging role
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Proven ability to work as part of a team
