In 2024 another £5m investment in factory expansion was completed at our Doogary site to increase our manufacturing footprint.

This not only allows us to keep up with global demand, it also enables us to grow our crushing and screening business in Europe. We are now one of Omagh's largest private employers with over 200 team members and we need to continue to grow our team to support our growth.

We are now looking to fulfil the role of a Senior Design Engineer – Washing

Under general supervision of the Yankton engineering team, the senior Design Engineer is responsible for design efforts from inception through production.

This position will focus on Static and modular Plants. Core components brought together in compliant systems, these are primarily electric powered with some hydraulic systems. These plants incorporate, on board power systems, hydraulics, electrical controls and mechanical systems including drives, crushers, feeders, screens and conveyors.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other engineers, cross-functional teams not limited to sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and service. They will develop conceptual and final design solutions, manage and coordinate project activities, support existing product offerings, and perform testing or analysis of new and existing products to further Astec’s product line development goals.

The preferred site location is Omagh, Northern Ireland.

Based across 2 nearby sites, Telestack have grown extensively in numbers and employ people across a range of disciplines from engineering (design, mechanical, electrical), manufacturing, fabrication, quality, supply chain, project management, aftermarket and product support, sales, marketing, finance, HR, IT and many more.

In addition, their turnover has increased substantially in that short period, and they are now one of the key private employers in the locality.
