Head of Marketing Our client is a diverse and growing group of businesses dedicated to serving communities and organisations across media, print, digital, and creative services. We are looking for a proactive, creative and driven Head of Marketing to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our marketing and communications strategy across a range of platforms across the Group. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for owning and executing the full marketing strategy across digital, brand, content and events. Working closely with teams across the business, you will develop innovative campaigns and initiatives that strengthen our brand presence, engage our target audiences and support commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities Drive the development and growth of the customer subscription base, identifying opportunities to attract, convert and retain subscribers. Lead the development of one of our key publication brands, with a focus on growing subscriptions, audience engagement and brand awareness. Lead and manage the company's awards programme, including planning, promotion and delivery, ensuring the awards strengthen the company's profile and reputation.

Develop and manage the company's digital marketing strategy, making effective use of agreed digital tools, platforms and technologies. Develop and oversee the company's web strategy, ensuring the website is engaging, optimised, up to date and aligned with wider marketing objectives. Provide the Commercial team with high-quality marketing materials, content and insights to support sales activity and position the company as an expert and preferred business partner.

Work closely with the Commercial, Editorial and Digital teams to develop and deliver effective campaigns and initiatives. Monitor and report on marketing performance, using data and insights to refine campaigns, improve results and maximise return on investment. Develop and execute the overall marketing and communications strategy, aligned with the company's objectives. Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, technologies and marketing best practice, identifying opportunities to enhance our approach.

Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, customer behaviour and wider market trends. Identify new opportunities to enhance brand visibility, audience engagement and commercial performance. Support and assist our sister companies' teams (print, studio, and creative services divisions) with their marketing requirements. Effectively communicate our brand value proposition, both internally and externally, ensuring consistency across all channels. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Essential Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Business or a related discipline.

Minimum 35 years' experience in a senior manager position within marketing, e-commerce, or digital marketing. Proven track record of growing online sales, leads or digital revenue. Experience managing and optimising websites and e-commerce platforms. Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and conversion optimisation.

Experience with Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads. Strong SEO knowledge and experience using SEO tools.

Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo. Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret performance data. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Contact Nicky Strutt
