Trainee Counter Assistant

ROWKER LTD is hiring a kitchen assistant. The role involves greeting customers, taking food and drink orders, preparing meals to a high standard, maintaining excellent food hygiene practices at all times, carrying out general kitchen duties, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the workspace.

• Taking and preparing food and drink orders.
• Maintaining Food Hygiene standards at all times, including checking product dates, stock rotation, temperature, and food records (training will be provided).
• Performing kitchen and cleaning duties; training will be provided on how to use the dishwasher, clear tables, and clean floor areas.
• Displaying the food counter to a high standard and presenting food well.

• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Minimum of six months’ customer service experience.

Job start is opportunity-based. Working hours are up to 25 hours per week, with flexible/reduced hours available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional hours may be offered depending on availability and should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment. Salary range:

• 16–17 years: £7.55 per hour
• 18–20 years: £10.00 per hour
• 21+ years: £12.21 per hour
