Casual Sales Assistant

Responsible for maintaining product presentation, supporting customers, and performing cash handling and dispensing tasks in the pharmacy and retail areas of the store.

• Stock maintenance and merchandising of product ranges.
• Provide exceptional customer service and awareness of customer needs.
• Execute till transactions accurately and manage cash handling.
• Offer up‑to‑date advice on products, promotions and special offers.
• Assist the pharmacist with dispensary‑related tasks.
• Maintain professional dress, grooming, and general housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Good numeracy and accuracy skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Team‑working ability.
• Flexibility to work on a rota, including weekends.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Currently studying Pharmacy or undertaking a degree in Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy experience.
• Six months’ experience in a similar retail environment, demonstrating selling skills.
• Six months’ experience demonstrating exceptional customer‑facing skills.

Casual, working as and when required, Monday to Saturday according to the shop rota.
