Wurth Ireland has been active for over 40 years from our head office on the Ballysimon Road, Limerick city. Our growth throughout the nineties and into the new millennium, coupled with our record‑breaking sales in 2022, has made Wurth Ireland a market leader in its field. Offering a range of over 8,000 industrial products direct from the logistics centre in Limerick and a further 120,000 articles through direct shipment from Germany, we are ready to supply and service our customers today and for the future.
We have 22 trade outlets across Ireland and an expanding online presence with vending technology, scanners, online sales, and social and video marketing.
Our strength is a direct sales force that is the largest in Ireland, travelling on the road to sell, service, and support our growing customer base. We serve automotive aftermarket, engineering & MRO, construction, renewables, kitchens, bedrooms & bathrooms, and more. At our head office in Limerick we employ over 70 support staff across sales, marketing, finance, customer services, purchasing, human resources, and logistics.
Position:Sales Representative – Metal Division (Omagh)
Your Mission
Drive sales of our metal products and services in the Omagh area, build strong relationships with new and existing customers, and meet sales targets to contribute to the growth of Wurth Ireland.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Promote the multi‑channel offering, including shops, online, telesales, and systems.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the industry.
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with customers of all sizes.
- Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge and provide accurate advice and tailored recommendations.
- Deliver sales demonstrations, detailed quotations, and highlight benefits to secure sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations.
- Plan and manage territory coverage in consultation with the Area Sales Manager.
- Maintain customer and order information using the in‑house iPad “Speedy” system.
Eligibility Criteria
- Sales experience desirable; willingness to learn and eagerness to work are essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn in‑house systems quickly.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full clean driving licence required.
