Housing Support Practitioner

Salary: £27,540 per annum.

Location:

Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.

Contract/

Hours:

Permanent, 37 hours a week on a shift rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with vulnerable young people aged 16-21 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
  • Support individuals in managing day‑to‑day life and facilitate access to specialised services.
  • Work with young people in small groups or individually depending on needs.
  • Collaborate with other staff teams and external organisations to ensure best outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and review progress at set intervals and provide additional support when necessary.
  • Mentor and support other members of the team.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working with vulnerable young people aged 16-21 years in a formal setting.
  • Diploma Level 3 or above in youth work or social care related qualifications.
  • Registered with NISCC or willingness to register.
  • Ability to work as part of a team on a 24/7 rota, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Willingness to engage in all associated training and learning.
  • Full UK driving licence; access to a car is required.
