As one of Northern Ireland's largest independent Oil distributors, we're looking for professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing team.
If you take pride in delivering outstanding customer service and putting safety first we'd love to hear from you. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of domestic heating oil throughout Northern Ireland. You'll play a key role in maintaining our excellent reputation by delivering exceptional customer service while working to the highest safety and compliance standards.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with a rotational Saturday Rota.
Key Responsibilities Safely deliver fuel to domestic customers across Northern Ireland Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure your delivery vehicle is cleaned and maintained to a high standard Complete all relevant fuel delivery documentation accurately in accordance with drivers manual and company procedure e.g., payment collection Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Digital Tachograph requirements Follow ADR, Health & safety and company procedures at all times Wear and correctly use all required PPE (provided) Report accidents, incidents, near misses, spillages, damages, vehicle defects, wrong delivery and other delivery issues promptly Work safely and responsibly when handling hazardous products Provide excellent customer service and represent Nicholl Oils professionally ESSENTIAL requirements Valid Class 2 HGV Licence Current Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Strong customer service and communication skills DESIRABLE Valid ADR Licence preferred.
Applications from experienced Class2 drivers without ADR are welcomed, as training opportunities are available Previous fuel, tanker or hazardous goods delivery experience 2 years HGV driving experience Ability to work on own initiative with strong teamwork ethos. Ability to complete paperwork accurately
