• Review assignments and journal entries prepared by Junior and Staff Accountants
• Mitigate risk by researching and escalating variances while coaching staff through issue resolution
• Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and present monthly financial statement results and report variances to the management team
  
  Act as a liaison with other departments and external parties regarding accounting information

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience in a combination of staff and senior positions
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems
• Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
• Advanced computer and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite

• Knowledge of Oracle Financial software
• Experience in the Credit Card Processing or Bankcard Industry
• CPA Certification
• Proficiency in Excel
