Audit Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Initiate kickoff meetings with the main client to determine timelines, goals, and expectations of an engagement.
• Lead engagement meetings with audit team members, share knowledge from client calls, set timelines, assign roles, and determine audit goals.
• Research business trends related to clients and apply this knowledge to client solutions while professionally representing the firm.
• Work with a variety of industries, including government, nonprofit, and closely held businesses.
• Conduct fraud interviews on an as‑needed basis with CEOs, accountants, and other employees.
• Provide financial analysis after fieldwork to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Coach staff and train on audit areas and collaborate on handling engagement aspects.
• Build relationships, network, and attract new clients or business to the firm.
• Attend training seminars, professional development sessions, and networking events.

• Travel to different locations to help clients (20 % of time required).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3‑5 years of experience in public accounting audit work.
• Active CPA license or actively working toward a CPA.
• Authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
