Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting our finance team, primarily focusing on inventory management. The role assists in daily, weekly, and monthly data entry using Excel, Qantel, and System A to ensure accurate inventory.

Schedule Requirements

  • This is a temporary, full time day shift position, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. Please note that this is a 12 month long assignment.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly data entry tasks using Excel, Qantel, and System A to support inventory controls. Enters and verifies product transfers for both internal and external inventory locations.
  • Maintains various excel spreadsheets for date tracking of internal/external production. Provide excel data entry support for Inventory Dept personnel, including text import to excel, formatting, linking worksheets and adding formulas.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies of various daily manufacturing system inputs to include computer input for daily adjustments to stock.
  • Processes and distributes various weekly and monthly inventory reports. Download Qantel reports from archived folders in System A to Excel worksheets on a daily basis for data entry and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in projects and tasks as assigned by the inventory manager or finance leadership.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2- year college degree or equivalent in Accounting or Inventory

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting

Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a finance or inventory setting.

Ability to analyze data to determine variations from norm and communicate inventory discrepancies.

10-key proficient, data entry and mathematical computation skills. Knowledge of inventory or accounting principles.

Detail oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy.

  • Familiarity with Qantel and System A software systems preferred; ability to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
