Bilingual Office Associate
Pay: $18 - $20 an hour based on experience

Schedule:

7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

Knowledge:
Quick Books familiarity; general office skills; clerical background; ability to multitask

Job Summary

Primary task is to enter, process, confirm and generate orders and invoices. Provide assistance and back up other office positions. Qualified applicant will have a high school diploma and some prior accounting experience.

Responsibilities
  • Providing timely coverage of the telephone system along with other clerical duties.
  • Check in all UPS and Fed Ex shipments during the day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work with Excel, Word, Quick Books.
  • Check prices, confirm orders, enter/change/edit orders, generate invoices for major customers.
  • Learn aspects of other office positions to provide backup in the event of vacations, time off, etc.
  • Tuesday & Friday hours may vary depending on assigned tasks; applicant is required to finish all assigned tasks prior to leaving.
Work Environment
  • Normal office setting with tiled floors.
  • Business casual attire.
  • Primary work area is in a temperature-controlled office. Secondary duties and/or during plant safety drills may involve exposure to temperatures ranging from 28°F-38°F, wet floors, and floors with blood/meat.
Requirements
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; willingness to learn and perform multiple jobs.
  • 45 wpm typing and 10 key 250 strokes are minimum requirements.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Quick Books, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform data entry, file records, send emails, and faxes.
  • Strong data entry and accounting background is preferred.
  • Be able to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
