Our client, in Omaha NE
, a global leader in paper, packaging, and recycling solutions, is seeking a Scale Clerk/Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Scale Clerk/Logistics Coordinator
, you will be part of the Operations and Logistics Department supporting the Shipping, Receiving, Traffic, and Customer Service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Scale Clerk / Logistics Coordinator
Location:Omaha NE
Pay Range:25.00/hour (DOE)
- Operate truck scales and accurately record inbound and outbound material weights.
- Prepare and maintain scale tickets, shipping documentation, and load records.
- Coordinate transportation scheduling and customer pickup requests.
- Communicate with customers, sales representatives, and carriers regarding shipments and schedules.
- Perform administrative duties including data entry, reporting, filing, and phone support.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and data entry systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with scale operations, shipping/receiving, logistics, or customer service preferred.
- Pay: 25.00/hr
- Shift: 12 pm - 6 pm, Monday - Friday
