Electrical Business Development Manager

IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager in Nebraska, with flexible working location in Norfolk, Lincoln, Grand Island, Omaha, or Kearney NE.

• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, including sourcing and qualifying potential projects for large commercial and industrial electrical contracts.
• Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with current and prospective customers to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintains close working relationship with senior leadership team.
• Provides oversight and assistance as needed for team of experienced estimators.
• Applies estimating best practices and procedures.
• Conducts job site visits as necessary.
• Qualifies quotes for special materials and sub-contracts.
• Prepares and Oversees proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travels as required.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and exposure to MS Office.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment (post offer) MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
