Join Our Team as a Lead Child Care Assistant!

Join the Bennington Public Schools Foundation's All Star Kids Program as a Lead Child Care Assistant, where you'll help supervise and engage children in fun, developmentally appropriate activities. This part-time position offers flexible hours and is perfect for those with childcare experience looking to make a positive impact in a school setting.

Pay: Starts at $16.00/hr

Hours Available: 6:15am-8:15am & 2:45pm-6:00pm Monday - Friday, because we want your weekends to be free for your Family and Friends!

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage with children in various school-aged childcare activities.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, school staff and team members.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to issues promptly.
  • Support the site directors in managing behavior, incidents, and reports.
  • Actively participate in activities and provide positive guidance to children.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work in Bennington, NE.
  • Prior experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
  • Must complete Nebraska Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Nebraska Adult Abuse Central Registry, and a background check.
