WhatYou’ll Do
- Interpret architectural plans and specifications, develop construction documents, and guide teams through each phase of the project.
- Prepare conceptual estimates, scopes of work, proposals, and correspondence that set clear expectations and keep projects on track.
- Develop and manage critical path schedules, provide direction and project oversight for AOI personnel and subcontractors to meet milestones and achieve outstanding results.
- Collaborate with clients, developers, architects, designers, subcontractors, and trade partners; act as a trusted advisor and advocate.
- Own the project fully:
Deliver confidence and trust by having a proactive approach, easing concerns, overcoming and eliminating issues, and keeping communication open with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in construction management, engineering, construction technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in the construction industry, with project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working for a commercial general contractor.
- A proven record of delivering successful commercial construction projects.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust.
- A commitment to excellence, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Timberline, Procore, and/or related construction management software systems.
