Foreman, Construction, Heavy Equipment Operator

K2 Construction in Lincoln, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. We are actively seeking qualified candidate to fill our open Foreman postition. Persons interested in applying for the foreman position must have experience running crews of 4-8 people and have experience in concrete removal and replacement.

Job Description

• Interpret and implement construction plans.
• Oversee the construction of headwalls, box culverts and other storm sewer structures, as well as footings.
• Read, understand, and enforce safety policies and practices.
• Ability to communicate and schedule their work with other employees of the company.
• Communicate with managers, sub-contractors, and Project Managers on a daily basis or as needed.
• Must be willing to work the hours needed to complete projects in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
• Manage paving crew to ensure that K2 Construction's high-quality standards are consistently met.

• All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
• Exposure to all elements of nature
• Exposure to all types of terrain
• Exposure to loud noise
• Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
• Work near heavy traffic

Physical Requirements

• Standing
• Walking
• Climbing, stooping and bending
• Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
• Duties may require working from heights
