Senior Project Architect – Jacobs

This hybrid, US-wide opportunity offers remote flexibility while collaborating in a local Jacobs office for team meetings.

$132,900 – $174,450 per year

• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for diverse clients.
• Apply architectural design knowledge, manage zoning, building codes, and building systems and materials.
• Mentor and lead less experienced architects and designers alongside technical and engineering discipline leads.
• Deliver excellence in all project phases—from planning through construction administration and close‑out—while maintaining firm‑wide quality standards.
• Collaborate with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities.
• Support advanced technology facilities, including Open AI and other critical infrastructure.

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited program.
• 15+ years of professional experience.
• Professional architectural license in multiple U.S. states.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and other regulations.
• Understanding of scope of work, budgeting, and schedule review.
• Ability to lead small architectural teams and collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Willingness to travel to U.S. project sites.
• Preferred:
  Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Preferred:
  Experience designing advanced facilities (data centers, life science, or other industrial facilities with office environments).
• Preferred:
  Participation in professional organizations.
• Preferred: LEED AP credentials.
