As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. From healing environments and learning spaces to research labs and civic landmarks and infrastructure, your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them. We bring together architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and collaboration.
From championing design excellence with an emphasis on resilience and sustainability to pioneering innovative building technologies, your contributions will leave a lasting impact on the built environment. This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our the role of Industrial Architecture Team Lead, we'll count on you to: Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, morale, and marketing support
Take administrative responsibility for studio staff, including managing team utilization and balancing project workloads both within the area and in coordination with national industrial architecture studios.
Lead and coordinate services with other local studios, national industrial architecture studios, and engineering business groups
See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system
Implement, monitor and support company policy
Select, train, develop and manage studio staff
Manage and develop multidiscipline teams
Work cooperatively with Managing Principal, Project Managers, and other studio leaders on project staffing
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 5 years experience in similar project types, such as mission critical facilities, data centers, advanced manufacturing, water treatment, maintenance facilities, or similar.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
Maintains a professional architecture license and is willing to stamp drawings.#LI-BC1
