Overview

The Department of Pathology and Microbiology at UNMC invites applications for a full-time, tenure‑leading faculty position in the division of Anatomic Pathology with a focus on Dermatopathology. The successful candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills in dermatopathology and will have the opportunity to participate in another subspecialty such as bone and soft tissue pathology.

Educational opportunities include teaching within the medical school and within an ACGME‑accredited AP/CP residency program. Opportunities for developing research projects are available. Candidates interested in developing a funded research program are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose dermatopathology specimens.
  • Participate in bone and soft tissue pathology subspecialty duties.
  • Teach medical students and residency trainees.
  • Develop and conduct research projects, including pursuing funded research.
  • Engage in administrative responsibilities within a rapidly growing, academic subspecialty‑based practice.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or equivalent) degree.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification in AP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology.
Compensation

Omaha, NE: $71,300.00–$.
