- Serve as a role model by espousing the traits of exemplary integrity and professionalism
- Design integrated care protocols for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases
- Assist in resident and medical student rotation development and teaching
- Collaborate with serviceline leadership in areas of research, clinical protocols, and operational efficiencies to improve clinical outcomes
- Promote excellence and innovation in patient care in accordance with the most recent scientific evidence and medical technology
- Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology, the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship
- Ability to obtain Nebraska License
- Have proven administrative leadership ability and experience
- Exceptional communication skills
CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are recruiting a Division Chief of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia to be part of our vibrant program and expand our clinical enterprise, research, and educational activities.
We seek a Division Chief who has a demonstrated commitment to steady innovative clinical practice growth, education and science, the ability to lead a diverse group and work collaboratively with hospital partners, success in promoting education and the ability to mentor young clinical and academic clinicians. Successful candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership, administrative and organizational skills and have an MD or equivalent degree.
