Position SummaryThe Department of Psychiatry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center ( UNMC ) in Omaha, NE, is recruiting an Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Addiction Division faculty. This position offers a unique blend of clinical care, teaching, and academic involvement. You will provide patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic where addiction medicine physicians and addiction psychiatrists collaborate, while also teaching fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students.
Our growing Addiction Division includes:
- Outpatient addiction psychiatrist
- Psychiatrist board-certified in addiction medicine leading the Addiction Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service
- Emergency medicine physician and pediatrician, both board-certified in addiction medicine
- Child and adolescent psychiatrist who is board-certified in addiction medicine
