Skilled and Technical Sciences (STS) Teacher at Millard South High School for the  school year. Millard South High School is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and hardworking STS teacher to join the STS Department for the  school year. We are looking for a dedicated team player who is passionate about building strong student relationships and providing practical hands-on learning experiences to prepare students for future endeavors.

• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum in specialized Skilled and Technical Sciences areas (specific content areas may be discussed during the interview; candidates with expertise in metals, woods, construction, or engineering principles are encouraged to apply).
• Foster strong, positive relationships with students, acting as a mentor and guide to help them discover their interests and aptitudes within technical fields.
• Teach practical, industry-relevant skills, promote critical thinking, and emphasize career readiness to prepare students for future success.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and effective laboratory or workshop environment.
• Collaborate actively with departmental colleagues and the wider school staff as a key team player to enhance the educational experience.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous professional improvement, embracing the hardworking nature of the trade and the teaching profession.
• Participate in departmental, school-wide, and district-level professional development and initiatives.

• Certificated teaching position in Skilled and Technical Sciences; candidates with expertise in metals, woods, construction, or engineering principles are encouraged to apply.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
