Overview
The English Learner (EL) teacher provides English language development instruction to students who are acquiring English as an additional language, working collaboratively with other instructional personnel, including a district-wide team of EL teachers, to meet the individual needs of each child.
Millard is currently looking for elementary and secondary EL teachers. The assigned school will be determined in the spring of 2026.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver English language development lessons for EL students.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to support EL students across grade levels.
- Administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Complete documentation required for compliance with ESSA Title III and NDE Rule 15.
- Attend district EL meetings and participate in district-provided professional development offerings.
