Job Title: Instructor – Firearms, Tactics, and Self-Defense/Martial Arts

Location: Omaha, NE

Reports To: Training Department Manager

Status: Part‑Time (Based on Experience & Availability)

As an Instructor at 88 Tactical, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective classes to students of all skill levels. Our ideal candidate is not only a subject‑matter expert in firearms and tactical training but also has a strong foundation in self‑defense/martial arts and personal safety. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the student experience and upholding our standard of excellence, safety, and empowerment.

• Instruct firearms, tactics, and/or self‑defense/martial art classes based on certifications and experience
• Provide hands‑on, scenario‑based training in a safe and supportive environment
• Adapt curriculum to meet the needs of beginners and experienced students alike
• Maintain high standards for safety, professionalism, and customer service
• Serve as a role model of preparedness, discipline, and positive leadership
• Stay current with 88 Tactical’s curriculum, policies, and training protocols
• Support large events, custom training sessions, and private group experiences
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure seamless class delivery

• Experience in firearms instruction, law enforcement, military, or similar field
• Background in self‑defense or martial arts instruction (e.g., Krav Maga, BJJ, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage students in a high‑paced, hands‑on training environment
• Passion for teaching and helping others build confidence through training
