Reports to: Principal
Principal Duties and Responsibilities7th & 8th Grade ELA; 7th-Grade Religion and Geography. This position is aimed at fostering a love for reading and writing among students while developing their language skills. The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and providing a supportive, faith-filled learning environment for all students.
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for 7th and 8th-grade ELA curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lessons for 7th-grade in Religion and Geography.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education
- Valid teaching certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Safe Environment Certified
