The Food Service Paraprofessional supports the daily operations of the school by working in both the front office and the cafeteria. This role helps ensure clear communication between the office and kitchen, and reliable meal counts so lunch service runs smoothly. Just as important, this person is often one of the first adults students see each day and has regular interactions with students throughout the building, creating opportunities to build positive relationships, support routines, and contribute to a welcoming and well‑organized school environment.

• M-F (9:30am - 1:30pm)

• Contribute to a positive, professional workplace.
• Support attendance and communication efforts.
• Coordinate daily lunch numbers and share updates with kitchen staff.
• Serve as a liaison between the front office and cafeteria.
• Assist with organization and communication related to food service operations.
• Provide support in the cafeteria during lunch periods to help maintain safe and orderly routines.
• Supervise students in the lunchroom.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students and reinforce school expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling student information.
• Assist with additional office or cafeteria duties as assigned.
