Assistant Director, Financial Support and Outreach
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Outreach, Support, and Student Eligibility, the Assistant Director leads the Outreach and Support team in the Office of Financial Support and Scholarships. Responsibilities include leading front‑facing customer service, developing financial aid outreach, office communications, social media, and website. The role collaborates with academic affairs, colleges, departments, student affairs, and community partners to enhance UNO’s financial aid outreach and literacy.
The Assistant Director administers federal work‑study.

- Collaborate with academic affairs, colleges, departments, student affairs, and community partners to enhance financial aid outreach and literacy.
- Administer federal work‑study program.
- Coordinate with other units and community partners as needed.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree (required). Preferred:
None specifically noted. - Experience:
Minimum of two years in financial aid or customer service (required). Equivalent education and experience may be considered. - Skills:
Strong communication skills (email, presentations, phone, meetings), customer service background, teamwork, willingness to learn basic financial aid knowledge.
