We are seeking a strong classroom leader and a reliable afternoon supervisor who will bring structure, joy, and professionalism to both our Preschool/Pre‑K program and our end‑of‑day center operations.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as the lead educator for our Preschool/Pre‑K program, modeling excellence in curriculum, classroom management, and intentional teaching practices.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally rich activities across literacy, math, science, art, and social‑emotional learning.
- Foster a classroom culture of belonging, exploration, problem‑solving, and kindness.
- Prepare students for kindergarten through structured routines, learning centers, and age‑appropriate assessments.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent communication and partnership.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and inspiring learning environment.
- Complete developmental documentation, observations, and progress updates.
- Support assistant teachers and floaters through coaching, collaboration, and role modeling.
- Serve as the designated afternoon site supervisor, supporting closing operations across the center.
- Oversee end‑of‑day child sign‑outs, parent interactions, and classroom wrap‑ups.
- Coordinate staffing, classroom coverage, and ratios during the busiest transition windows.
- Support teachers with afternoon routines such as snack, outdoor play, and closing tasks.
- Ensure rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and set for the next day.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to staff as operational needs arise.
- Record and communicate end‑of‑day updates, incidents, or staffing needs to the Director team.
- Help maintain a calm, smooth, and welcoming atmosphere for families during pick‑up.
- An experienced Preschool or Pre‑K teacher with a passion for child development and school readiness.
- Confident, dependable, and energized by the opportunity to lead afternoon operations.
- A strong communicator with families and staff; warm, professional, and solution‑oriented.
- Organized, proactive, and proud of maintaining high classroom and center standards.
- Calm under pressure and able to adjust gracefully when changes arise.
- A team player who builds others up and leads by example.
- Previous early childhood experience (Preschool or Pre‑K required).
- Lead teacher qualified per Nebraska licensing standards.
- Strong knowledge of lesson planning, assessments, and classroom management.
- Must meet all Nebraska child care licensing and background check requirements.
- Ability to work a full‑time schedule with afternoon supervising responsibilities.
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain upon hire.
