St. Pius X/St. Leo School is seeking a passionate, dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our faith-filled, diverse learning community for the 2026-27. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, nurturing the whole child, and supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The Elementary Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that promotes spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth.
Teachers work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and administration to support student success.
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate, and differentiated instruction, aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration
- Participate in school liturgies, events, and professional development
- Support the mission and philosophy of the Catholic Church and the school
- Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or in process of becoming certified)
- Safe Environment Trained
- Expertise in curriculum, instruction, and assessment in content area
- Experience working with Elementary and Early Childhood students is preferred.
