Position SummaryThis position will serve as an Academic Coach within Durango’sAdvancement & Support Hub ( DASH ), supporting students across multiple scholarship cohorts. The position will foster belonging and student success through individualized academic, career,social, and emotional support; connections to campus and community resources; and guidance in developing skills and strategies for persistence and degree completion. The Academic Coach will collaborate with campus partners to provide holistic, wrap-around support and use student data to proactively identify needs and connect students with timely resources, with the goal of increasing retention and graduation.
Job Duties Responsibility Area:Academic Coaching
Provide proactive, ongoing academic and career coaching through individualized and group meetings, digital outreach, and other targeted interventions. Develop individualized success plans and maintain regular communication with students to monitor progress,address barriers, and connect them with appropriate resources and support. Collaborate with advisors, faculty, and peer mentors to coordinate outreach and support for students who may benefit from additional assistance. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and services to support program assessment, research,and continuous improvement.
