As a Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a team that designs and delivers open-web steel joists and steel deck systems used in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings across the Midwest.
What You’ll Be Doing- Design floor and roof systems using structural steel components.
- Collaborate with detailers, production staff, and project managers throughout the design and fabrication process.
- Interface with engineers, architects, and contractors to bring your work to life.
- Grow into a subject matter expert on structural systems and solutions.
- Strong mentorship and training program built for recent grads.
- Real responsibility on real projects right away.
- Opportunities to apply what you’ve learned in statics, steel design, and structures classes — while preparing for your PE license.

- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Passed (or planning to take) the FE exam.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

This position is based in our Nebraska facility — close to home but full of career-launching potential. Occasional travel to job sites or client locations may be required.
