Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Duration: 06 months with possible extension

Office: Omaha, NE 68124

Pay rate: $40/hr. on W2

• Opportunity for a motivated project engineer to support natural gas pipeline engineering and mechanical design team. The candidate will have an engineering degree (typically mechanical or chemical engineering) or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
• They will be part of a team, learning to prepare designs for pipelines, meter stations and other pipeline facilities; specify materials to be purchased to implement facility designs; develop project implementation schedules; prepare cost estimates; perform engineering studies involving data analysis and process flow analysis and written reports.
• Responsibilities also include supporting active construction projects and occasional site visits within the region (~10%).
• Successful candidates will learn quickly, be a self-starter, adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple concurrent deadlines, have strong communication skills, and work successfully in teams or independently.
