Salary Range / Rate: $35/hr to $37/hr W2 (USD)

Hiring an Electrical CAD Designer with experience in power and controls design, specifically within the utility industry – focused on natural gas pipelines, compressor stations, and process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update detailed electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and control panel layouts
• Participate in onsite facility evaluations and work closely with engineers and field teams
• Perform electrical load calculations, conduit sizing, and material selection
• Incorporate markups and revisions from engineering teams
• Ensure designs meet internal standards, codes, and safety requirements
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and improving design solutions

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Design/CAD Technology
• Electrical CAD experience in the utility industry
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Adobe/Blue Beam preferred
• ADDA certification is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
