Job Description
Pro Sidian is seeking a Risk Assessor / Toxicologist / Environmental Management [USACE
013018] for a contingent, exempt contract engagement supporting USACE within the Midwest region across ten states:
Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The role involves providing engineering services focused on flood management, environmental restoration, and military construction, supporting national security and disaster risk mitigation.
The position supports environmental risk evaluations, exposure assessments, and risk management strategies, requiring expertise in toxicology, hazardous waste, and environmental regulations. The role may be W-2 or 1099, with potential for full-time employment.
Responsibilities include: evaluating environmental risks, assessing exposure, developing risk strategies, and applying toxicological principles, regulations, and methodologies related to hazardous and toxic waste, PFAS, HTRW, and MEC investigations.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have expertise in toxicology and risk assessment, a degree in toxicology, chemistry, environmental science/engineering, or related fields, and at least five years of relevant experience. Certifications such as DABT are preferred. Skills include risk assessment, regulatory compliance, data analysis, and strong communication. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain necessary permits and licenses. The role demands proficiency in project management, team leadership, and Microsoft Office tools.
