No remote/telecommuting opportunity

This position provides engineering support to senior technical staff for orthopaedic biomechanical research. Responsibilities include the design and fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures using conventional and CNC machining, maintenance of mechanical and electronic lab systems, and support in experimental setup, data collection, and documentation of lab quality assurance procedures.

Education:

Associate's degree or equivalent

Required Experience:

2 years

Experience in the mechanical trades to include designing and making instruments and tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to operate conventional mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, CNC Milling, and CNC lathes, including modern CNC programming and setup.

Experience with CNC programming and setup. Additional experience in general maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic machinery preferred.
